BiA - Biblioteche in Abruzzo

BiA is the app that allows you to consult the Catalog of the "Libraries in Abruzzo" Cluster to which the four libraries of the provincial capitals belong (Dèlfico, De Meis, D'Annunzio and Tommasi), university libraries, municipal libraries and Promotion Agencies cultural region of the Abruzzo region, with a total documentary heritage of over 600,000 volumes.

What you can do with the BiA app:

- Search for a document;

- Sort search results (by author, title, year, relevance)

- Identify which library has the desired document

- Check the availability of the loan

- Locate the library location thanks to a personalized Google Maps map

- Book a document after identification using the credentials issued at the time of registration

- Access the digital resources in the catalog

Search types:

- Search with keywords

- Search using author and / or title and / or ISBN

- Capture the barcode present on a book using the camera of a smartphone or tablet

Use of credentials (User access):

An identified user can have more detailed information on the availability of the material and make requests.

Access credentials are issued by the libraries participating in the catalog.
